Before you enter the mission, a briefing might be provided to you to begin your escape hunt with your team.
There are two types of escape rooms: you have the physical escape room and then the virtual escape room.
In a VR escape room you get the best of both worlds where you get your independent physical space to move around, but you also wear a vr headset to explore the escape room in the virtual world to solve puzzles together with your team.
In VR escape room you are independent and interdependent!!.
Several escape room experiences are offered for team building, birthday parties, bucks party, hens do and so many other group activities with your family, friends and work mates all built on the escape room concept.

The biggest positive difference with a virtual reality escape room vs. a physical escape room is that in a virtual reality escape room, you can start from where you left in case you didn’t escape in time!!. Better value for money.
What is a VR Escape Room?
Players are transported to a virtual world where they must solve puzzles, mysteries, and challenges to escape within a set time limit.
Each player wears a VR headset and gets their own physical space area. They then see each other as avatars and can speak to each other working on the same virtual reality escape room mission.
Each team is in their own virtual room to have their vr experiences independent of other teams unlike in physical escape room where only one team can do one particular escape room.
You do not need to select the escape room upfront, and you can select it once you are at the venue. Please see the table below for quick reference and individual links.
We have several escape rooms and can host a maximum of 12 people at a time for escape rooms. So if there are more than 4–6 people, then we will divide you into multiple teams. You will compete in teams, adding extra fun and enjoyment. So more the better!!.
How do escape rooms work at ViriApsis?
A briefing is provided on how to use the VR controllers, VR head sets, call for help, how to interact with your virtual objects and move around in the VR world so that you are very comfortable to commence your journey in the virtual room.
Each player is onboarded by our game masters in a VR station and with a VR headset through which they can view everyone in the virtual room.
Once everyone is onboarded, then only the escape room experience will commence.
So enter the mission with no fear; you and your group will be in the best virtual room in Melbourne solving complex puzzles in immersive 3D graphics. We will provide you with a detailed briefing, and depending on the level of difficulty, we will provide the necessary support.

What is the difference between physical escape rooms and VR escape rooms ?
In ViriApsis VR escape room you are able to select any escape room at the venue with your friends while in a physical escape room you need to select at the time of booking.
VR experiences can be more real as they are able to mirror “real-life” situations more easily than physical escape rooms.
Most importantly you can start from where you left over in a VR escape room which cannot be done in a phyiscal escape room.
