FAQS

APSIS VR

WHAT’S VR AND WHY IS IT AWESOME?

Virtual Reality is a 3D world simulated by a computer. This means that as soon as you put your headset on you’re transported into a completely different world! VR allows you to experience an entirely new level of adventure and unbelievable worlds of puzzles.

HOW DO YOU PLAY THE GAMES?

Virtual Reality is as easy to play as real life. You can grab, throw, bend and move around like in real life (with the addition of teleportation)! The hard part is figuring out how to work together as a team in order to solve each puzzle in your game.

THIS IS A TEAM BASED EXPERIENCE, SO HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY AT ONCE?

Our maximum number of players in the one game is 6 (although some of our games have a limit of 4). If you have more than 6 people you can spilt into two groups and try to beat each other’s time!

DO WE HAVE TO CHOOSE AN EXPERIENCE BEFORE BOOKING?

Not at all. Due to the nature of VR we can load you into any game that you choose, and we can also give you recommendations for our favourite games!

IS SOMEONE THERE TO HELP DURING THE EXPERIENCE?

You will meet your game master before beginning your experience. While in game you can speak to your game master at anytime. All of our games have an in-depth hint system to total immersion!

IS THE EXPERIENCE SAFE?
The experience is absolutely safe. Our experiences are played while standing and are equipped with the very best technology for VR. This means it is extremely unlikely to experience motion sickness. There is a chance that those extremely sensitive to motion sickness may experience some discomfort. If you have any concern about motion sickness during play, please let our team know immediately.

For safety reasons anyone with the following impairment or medical condition will unfortunately not be allowed to play:
  • Epilepsy and similar seizure disorders.
  • Deaf or severe hearing loss.
  • Broken leg or arm.
  • Heart condition.
  • Heavily pregnant.
  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to play
CAN I WEAR MY GLASSES?

Absolutely! We recommend that you wear your glasses or contact lenses for the best experience. Please try to wear thin frames, as large frames or thick lenses will be unlikely to fit under the headset.

WHAT’S THE MINIMUM AGE TO PLAY?

You must be at least 10 years old to play (with a parent or guardian present).  Sanctum and House of Fear are suitable for players aged 16+.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You’ll be standing for up to an hour so we recommend some comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARRIVE?

As soon as you arrive you’ll be greeted by our team, asked to check in and choose your experience. You’ll be given an explanation and demo of how everything works and the rules of the game. After helping you into your headset and gear you’ll begin the game to start your experience.

During the experience you can speak to your game master at anytime in-game, or use the in-game hint system.

Afterwards you’ll debrief, take some photos and have a laugh!
